Meet Gabrielle
Hi, I’m Gabrielle, the founder of Dinner Date and a degree-qualified nutritionist. My passion for cooking started in my own kitchen, where experimenting with new recipes brought excitement and creativity to my life. Even with years of cooking experience, I often struggled with deciding what to eat for dinner every day. I realised I wasn’t alone—many people want to cook more at home but feel overwhelmed by the planning and preparation involved.
During my master’s degree, I researched the eating patterns of women and found that most weren’t meeting food group guidelines or specific nutrient recommendations. This inspired me to create Dinner Date as a way to help people easily include a variety of food groups in their diets, aiming to improve nutrient intake and make home-cooked meals accessible and enjoyable.
